Our Decaf comes from the vibrant village of Gaitania, Colombia, where around 70 young indigenous coffee growers are redefining what decaf can be. Grown with organic principles and deep respect for the land, these beans are fully washed and naturally processed, resulting in a clean, sweet cup with remarkable balance.
After harvest, the coffee travels to DESCAFECOL in Manizales, Caldas-the only Columbian facility using “sugar cane process” which uses ethyl acetate derived from the sugar cane grown locally, to gently remove caffeine while preserving the coffee’s natural flavors.
They call it Yuppie Decafbecause it comes from the Yuppie Program (Young Professional People), a project that invests in young producers, helping them improve quality and rewarding their commitment to excellence.
The result? A decaf that’s anything but dull — smooth, layered, and full of purpose.
